Car­ol Gaines is an accom­plished Graph­ic Design­er who excels at design­ing print col­lat­er­al and web­sites that project her clients’ brand image, and effec­tive­ly deliv­ers its intend­ed mes­sage to its tar­get audi­ence. She is an intel­li­gent, cre­ative prob­lem solver who enjoys tak­ing the ini­tia­tive to help fig­ure out solu­tions to tough challenges.

She has worked as a free­lance design­er for many clients includ­ing Philadel­phia Inquir­er, Tem­ple Uni­ver­si­ty, Luther­an The­o­log­i­cal Sem­i­nary of Philadel­phia, Scholas­tics, and oth­er edu­ca­tion­al and non-for-prof­it clients, and has won awards for her out­stand­ing work.

Ms. Gaines has the abil­i­ty to help clients com­mu­ni­cate effec­tive­ly by strate­giz­ing with them on the image and posi­tion­ing they want to project in the mar­ket­place and then cre­at­ing designs to sup­port their goals. She can devel­op a brand image, and raise the pro­file of a com­pa­ny or indi­vid­ual through stel­lar design, insight, and under­stand­ing of the unique­ness of each client.

In addi­tion to being an out­stand­ing graph­ic design­er, Ms. Gaines has a pen­chant for learn­ing new soft­ware and train­ing oth­ers, as well as pro­vid­ing tech­ni­cal sup­port to inter­nal users. She has 10 years of high­er edu­ca­tion in a com­bi­na­tion of fine arts and graph­ic design. Car­ol received a BFA from Indi­ana Uni­ver­si­ty, Bloom­ing­ton Indiana,
the equiv­a­lent of a mas­ters degree from the Penn­syl­va­nia Acad­e­my of Fine Arts and com­plet­ed the desk­top pub­lish­ing and com­put­er graph­ics program
at Moore Col­lege of Art + Design.

She is an avid read­er, yoga stu­dent, and swim­mer. Read­ing led to a pas­sion for typog­ra­phy, and beau­ti­ful­ly designed books. She reads fic­tion, his­to­ry, phi­los­o­phy and biog­ra­phy, all which con­tin­ue to inspire and intel­lec­tu­al­ly engage her. She enjoys all the arts, which help to enrich her per­son­al as well as pro­fes­sion­al life. Yoga and swim­ming keep her bal­anced lit­er­al­ly and fig­u­ra­tive­ly.
